Introduction to Iran Airports and Air Navigation Services

 

1) Providing services to flights passing through the Iranian Airspace

Flight Permission Service is provided to domestic and interntional flights that have activity approvals from the Civil Aviation Organization of Iran and the countries committed to the Chicago Convention. All the international flights to/from iran or the flights which are passing through iranian airspace toward their destination have to meet particular circumestances to be eligible to receive flight permission.

2) Providing airport services to flight passengers

Creating passenger terminals to provide services and basic infrastructure, including equipment and facilities, such as lounges and waiting buildings, deployment of military equipment, flight information, customs, passports, flight and boarding related matters, public health and plant and animal quarantine, for domestic and international flights

3) Providing services for handing over airport locations

Service level agreement for provision of airport facilities and sites and allocating the required space for airlines, handling and booths (sales, traffic, dispatch and taxi offices) based on national (Civil Aviation Organization of the Islamic Republic of Iran) and international (ICAO) standards and laws in the airports owned or the airports are contracted by Iran Airports and Air Navigation Company."

4) Providing services to domestic and international flights with the origin/destination of the country's airports

Air traffic services are provided to domestic and international flights which have activity approval from the Civil Aviation Organization of Iran and the countries that are affiliated to the Chicago Convention. These services will be provided based on national (Civil Aviation Organization of the Islamic Republic of Iran) and international (International Civil Aviation Organization ICAO) standards and laws, within the airports under the ownership or the airports of the contract parties of Iran Airports and Air Navigation Company.

5) Providing aviation and airport information services

Iran Airports and Air Navigation Company is obliged to provide flight notification services to inform the general public, executive agencies, users and air transportation service providers about flight details and status. This service is provided through the company's portal, telephone system, messaging system and flight announcement boards installed in the airport terminal.

6) Responding to construction inquiries within the boundaries of airports and aviation stations

The presence of buildings and telecommunications masts in the airspace of airports as flight obstacles can cause accidents. In this regard, issuing construction permits within the boundaries of airports is one of the duties of Iran Airports and Air Navigation Company.

 

7) Providing aviation services and flight verification to other airports

Iran Airports and Air Navigation Company is committed to provide aviation services such as manpower supply, flight check, etc. to the airports of other institutions (Ministry of Oil, Post) and other non-owned airports based on aviation guidelines and regulations. on the other hand, the beneficiaries are obliged to behave within the established framework and existing standards and refrain from any action that can cause a disturbance in the safety of the flight.

8) Providing educational services in the field of aviation

In order to carry out a safe flight, it is necessary to hold training courses appropriate to this industry, therefore, Iran Airports and Air Navigation Company conducts specialized aviation and airport training courses for employees of companies and institutions related to flight operations.
